Metals Stocks Tumbled, Glencore Falls 10%

Theindonesiatoday.com - Metals stocks lost ground worldwide, led by Glencore's 10% downfall in London.
Freeport McMoran down 8.07% in New York, while Newmont Mining down slightly 1.08%. Teck Resources also shed 7.8%, while Anglo American lost 6.96% in London.
Rio Tinto tumbled 6.5% both in New York and London.

Oil Falls 7%, Dow Plummets 3.68%

Theindonesiatoday.com - Crude oil tumbled 7.17% to US$81.3 per barrel Thursday (August 18) on fears about global economy and euro zone debts.
Energy stocks dragged down worldwide accordingly. Xstrata, the world's largest thermal coal exporter shed 10.17% in London, while Peabody Energy, the world's largest thermal coal producer in the private sector, conceded 7.2% in New York.
